Beautiful shot of 617 Squadron Tornado GR4
One of 617 sqdn's Tornado GR4 aircraft photographed heading for the runway at the beginning of yet anoter mission over Afghanistan. It has been a very busy few days for the squadron with numerous recce and 'show of force' missions flown in support of ground troop patrols and fixed bases likely to come under attack by the Taliban across Afghanistan.
